1. Purpose and Incorporation
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every User, Customer, Organization, API consumer and other person who accesses DroneJob.
It is incorporated into the DroneJob Terms of Service at https://www.dronejob.ai/terms. Terms Section 36 restates the most material rules and points here for the complete prohibited-conduct framework.
Users must use DroneJob in accordance with:
- the Terms of Service;
- this AUP;
- applicable law;
- applicable Additional Terms; and
- documented product limitations.
Users must not use DroneJob in ways that create unreasonable risk to other Users, Clients, Pilots, Organizations, DroneJob, infrastructure or third parties.
Related privacy rules appear in the Privacy Policy. Messaging remains subject to Terms Sections 23–25.
2. Unlawful Activity
Users must not use DroneJob to:
- violate applicable law;
- facilitate illegal conduct;
- conceal unlawful activity; or
- assist another person in violating applicable law.
3. Unsafe or Unlawful Drone Operations
Users must not use DroneJob to knowingly facilitate:
- unauthorized drone operations;
- unlawful surveillance;
- unsafe aviation activity;
- operation in violation of applicable aviation law;
- falsification of safety/compliance information; or
- evasion of required aviation authorization.
DroneJob tools must not be used to make an unlawful operation appear compliant.
4. Credential and Identity Fraud
Users must not:
- falsify credentials;
- alter credential documents;
- impersonate another Pilot;
- impersonate an Organization;
- provide fraudulent insurance information; or
- misrepresent professional qualifications.
5. Fraud and Deceptive Conduct
Users must not use DroneJob to:
- commit fraud;
- manipulate transactions;
- submit fake Missions;
- generate fraudulent reviews;
- misrepresent services;
- engage in payment fraud; or
- intentionally deceive other Users.
6. Harassment and Abuse
Users must not use DroneJob communications or community functionality to threaten, harass, stalk, intimidate, abuse or unlawfully discriminate against another person.
7. Privacy Violations
Users must not:
- unlawfully obtain personal information;
- disclose personal information without authority;
- dox individuals;
- upload unlawfully obtained contact lists; or
- use DroneJob to conduct unlawful surveillance.
9. Malicious Software
Users must not:
- upload malware;
- transmit malicious code;
- distribute ransomware;
- attempt to compromise another User's device; or
- use DroneJob as infrastructure for cyber abuse.
10. Security Interference
Users must not:
- bypass authentication;
- circumvent access controls;
- defeat tenant isolation;
- probe systems without authorization;
- access another Customer's data;
- exploit vulnerabilities; or
- disrupt Service availability.
12. Reverse Engineering
Except where applicable law prohibits this restriction, Users must not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive source code from DroneJob proprietary software.
This does not limit rights expressly granted under applicable open-source licenses.
13. Scraping and Automated Extraction
Users must not use scraping, bots, crawlers or automated extraction to obtain restricted DroneJob information outside approved APIs, exports or public-search access, except where expressly authorized.
Public search-engine indexing authorized by DroneJob is not prohibited by this section.
14. Resource Abuse
Users must not use DroneJob in a manner that unreasonably consumes infrastructure, degrades performance, bypasses usage limits, avoids subscription limits or creates excessive automated traffic.
15. API Abuse
Users must not:
- circumvent API limits;
- share API credentials improperly;
- use APIs beyond granted scopes;
- intentionally generate abusive traffic; or
- use one Customer's API access for another Customer without authorization.
16. AI Misuse
Users must not use DroneJob AI Features to:
- bypass security;
- bypass human approval required by DroneJob;
- falsify credentials or records;
- create deceptive compliance representations;
- impersonate regulated professionals;
- automate unlawful communications; or
- deliberately facilitate unsafe operations.
Users must not represent AI Output as FAA approval, legal authorization, engineering certification, licensed-surveyor output or another regulated professional determination unless the required professional process has independently occurred.
17. Autonomous Safety Decisions
Users must not configure AI or automation to intentionally bypass a required human go/no-go decision, safety approval, compliance override or regulatory approval.
18. Intellectual-Property Violations
Users must not use DroneJob to knowingly infringe copyright, misappropriate trade secrets, violate trademark rights or distribute content without authorization.
19. Confidential Information
Users must not improperly disclose another Customer's information, Client Confidential Information, enterprise project information or sensitive infrastructure information.
20. Restricted Government Information
Users must not submit information requiring an unsupported government-security environment. This may include classified information, CUI requiring an authorization the contracted environment does not possess, export-controlled information requiring unsupported controls, or other specially restricted government data.
21. Public-Sector Systems
Public Sector Customers must use DroneJob only for workloads appropriate to the contracted DroneJob environment.
Government status does not override the Service's documented security, residency, classification or Integration limitations.
22. Enforcement
DroneJob may investigate suspected violations and may take proportionate action including warning, content removal, feature restriction, Integration restriction, messaging restriction, temporary suspension or termination.
Where feasible and appropriate, DroneJob may provide an opportunity to correct a violation. Immediate action may be appropriate because of security, fraud, unlawful activity, safety, carrier requirements or risk to other Users.
